A home grown blend of stability, buoyancy and responsiveness designed to rip your local river wave. River waves are not like ocean waves. Rivers waves are generally smaller and slower. Ocean waves have sharks under them and aggro locals in the lineup, too. So it is not surprise that boards that surf in the ocean do not work well on standing waves in rivers. 4 years of design and testing have lead to what we think are the ultimate tools for surfing standing waves in rivers. These boards will rip large waves in high volume rivers like the Glenwood wave or Lachine, but where they shine is at the local play wave at average flows. The River Surfer is designed to have enough volume to plane out in smaller river waves, bringing surfing to your backyard play spot. (without sharks).

I have surfed this board many times and in many different locations. It was always fun and absolutely worth having it along. You won't be running any rivers with it. However any park and surf will now take on a whole new meaning for you. if you want to shred...standing up...this is the board you want.

About Me
I have been paddling SUP for 4 years now. I paddle up to class 4 on SUP.
Pros / The Good
The river surfer is SHORT. That is probably the most important thing about this board. It can surf where no other board can. It it near impossible to purl the bow, the rocker is fantastic. Even though the board is not long it has incredible speed due to its epoxy material and squared of low rocker tail. As soon as the fast water gets under this board it takes on the personality of a much faster long board. The Badfish river surfer is at home on 6 foot tall green waves and tiny 6 inchers with a foam pile.
Cons / The Bad
The river surfer doesn't have much flat water stability. When you get the water moving under it the stability increases 100%.
