The Delta Catfish 12.5 brings a whole new level of design and performance to the sit on top kayak arena. The modified tunnel hull provides great stability without the excessive beam width found on most SOT kayaks. Easier paddling with better speed and tracking ability, a Sea View cockpit viewing window, two storage hatches, a front bulkhead and generous deck rigging are among the many features.

Since its inception the Catfish 12.5 has brought new life into a category long overdue for a change.

The Catfish is a tunnel hull Cat with a Sea View window offering the paddler enhanced vision underwater.

Due to the strengths of tunnel hull design we have created a narrow sit on top at 27 inches compared to the traditional 30 plus inch units currently available on the market.

On the Catfish deck we have placed two hatches one fore and one aft. The front hatch includes a bulkhead keeping your gear isolated and secure.

In the rear cargo bay we have shaped two spaces for scuba tanks or fishing boxes and bait tanks. We have an innovative solution to assisting fishermen or women to stand up which is in our deck design enabling us to lock a paddle behind the seat with floats on either end to create trimaran type platform resulting in a stable platform to cast.

The bottom line is we now offer a lightweight sit on top at 49lbs, a narrow sit on top allowing you to use a 220 cm paddle, and a stable and very efficient unit allowing you to enjoy your day in the sun!
