Fusion Elite

Fusion is the first serial produced surfski that is designed and manufactured in Sweden! Developed during 15 month specific for Nordic oceans to get as close to perfection as possible. We have created a very safe ocean craft for high speed over long distance in rough water. The hydrodynamic hull is made with a lower rocker and much volume in the ends to glide smooth thru smaller waves and lift in bigger. This also gives superior tracking when traversing in downwind. The hull shape is flat to achieve high primary stability and to easily catch and ride waves, something that is really notable already in small short waves. All this together gives a less nervous ski where you can feel relaxed when conditions are rough and stay focused on hammering forward. The cockpit has been tested a lot to give an ergonomic seating and a feeling of aggressive forward paddling position. The gunwales are low so it is very easy to climb back from the water, even in waves. The foot brace has been a critical component in our development. We have now found an innovated idea that is made to enable a good leg drive without any unnecessary steering. By making the foot brace in one piece pre preged carbon the "pedals" can be set straight up so when you are pushing hard with the heels the kayak is tracking straight forward. The lower section is also made curved, after a foot, for maximal support and comfort. The draining system is a dinghy self bailer that is easy to reach and maneuver from closed to fully open. When open maximal and the cockpit is full of water it takes about 30 strokes to get a completely dry cockpit. When you are in calmer water and the bailer is closed it reduces the drag by up to 3%. To give the user as many options as possible there are prepared areas for smaller hatches in cockpit, front- and back deck for light packing and fast touring. There are also an opportunity to have both ocean rudder and a Smart track kick up rudder, which can easily been switch between.
