Learn. Refine. Get solid. User-freindly, river-running boat. Combined hull shape for stability whether you're upright or in a lean. Built short for maneuverability, but long enough to give good solid speed. Ample volume in bow "seeks the surface" after a descent drop. Rocker designed for surfing on big or small wave. Easy to roll.

About the reviewer

I am a fit 40 year old who is just learning kayaking, along with my 12 year old son... so far so good

Review

Not having any WW kayak expereince, but having flatwater kayak experience and WW open canoe eperience, I can say that so far I am pleased with the performance of this boat. I know the design may be too dated for some, but so far has been a good learning platform. Both my son and I learned to roll in this boat during our second "self taught" session, in our lake.

I like the way the boat is stable, yet manuverable. I have surfed motor boat wakes and it is very controllable and predictable.

Conclusion

All in all I am glad with this purchase and am looking forward to working my way up to some of the great wW here in NC.
