The Pacificas are designed for recreation, but have performance features that allow paddlers to use the boat in more difficult water conditions. This boat features:
a cockpit-deployable drop skeg for tracking and stability in rougher water; a stern dual density hatch to keep gear dry; and touring-kayak style bow and stern deck rigging.

Discontined, I bought mine on clearance so the price was not so bad. not so good if I had to pay full price.

Smaller and lighter for rec use, tracks ok with the skeg down

plows through the water so not a good distance boat.
