The PURE XL is rounding off our range at the top end, for heavier paddlers and those who like to transport a lot
of gear. To be fully able to profit from the advantages of the PURE XL, your weight should be at least 85kg. Only then will the boat show its full potential. To accommodate larger paddlers the cockpit of the XL is longer and wider at the front.
The PURE has become well-established in the Creeker scene. The boat has undergone thorough tests by our team paddlers on various expeditions, for example in Chile, Iceland and Siberia.
The PURE impresses due to its balanced riding qualities, high safety reserves as well as highquality workmanship. The blow-moulded HTP boat hull is almost indestructible, also over several seasons the PURE is a safe boat for the toughest of conditions.

Proper paddling position is key to getting the most out of this boat. If you get lazy and lean back when you are running a rapid. The boat reminds you very quickly. As soon as you get back over the boat it goes back to a super awesome boat. This is the way any boat should be. It reminds you to paddle properly and makes you a better boater in the process.

I am a Class V paddler. I spend about 100 days a year on the water. A great majority is spent on WV/ Western Md creeks. I have owned and enjoyed the Pyranha Everrest and Pyranha Burn Large (old design and New)

Pros / The Good
This is probably the best boat I have ever paddled. I work at a kayak shop and have access to Pyranha, Liquid Logic, Dagger, Wavesport, and Jackson boats. I have paddled all the creekers in our demo fleet.
It is fast ! It gets up to speed with a few paddle strokes and holds on to it.
It tracks really well and turns on a dime. All you need is a sweep stroke and you can change your line.
It Boofs awesome.
It is a very stable boat.
It is very predictable when you do mess up your line. A good brace and you are back where you need to be charging into the next rapid.
The outfitting was the easiest to adjust I have ever used. the shock absorbing bulkhead works very well.
Last but not least Prijon Plastic! This boat will last a long time and it comes with a 5 year warranty! No one does that. The usual for other brands is a year and if you crack it they sell you a warranty hull.

Cons / The Bad
The dense rubber on the thigh hooks could be softer. I added 1/8" minicell and now its super comfy.
