The Raptor blends the grace of a mono hull kayak with the stability of a catamaran. Our design patented (pending) hull combines stability and speed with a comfortable and spacious cockpit. Thermo-formed interior sections create the look and feel of a wrap around console. An acrylic/ ABS molded floor section was designed to support the weight of stand up paddlers. The open 30” wide cargo well is positioned to allow easy reach of all items from the cockpit seat. The Raptor was designed for Pacific Ocean conditions and can handle any conditions you would normally put a fishing kayak into.

We searched for the best materials available in the construction of our Santa Cruz Kayaks. Sturdy 1.25” webbing straps, in lieu of bungee cords for fastening your gear in the boat. Even the rudder control cables are fabricated from the finest SS hardware we could find. Quality costs a little more, but it endures over time.

You owe it to yourself to test paddle one...

Revolutionary hybrid hull design is ideally-suited for an electric trolling motor option.
Design provides speed and stability. Stable enough to use as a stand-up paddle boat!
Spacious cockpit area with a molded seat/ interior floor system that’s foam filled for added floatation and to help reduce noise transmission.
Paddle keepers, flush-mounted rod holders, as well as plenty of storage for all your gear.
Low profile and twin- keels prevent crosswinds from pushing you off-course.
The high-coaming and optional lap skirt helps to keep you warm and dry.
Design includes rudder and foot controls.
Weighs in at 62 lbs. and can be easily entered and launched by one person.
