After leading the industry in whitewater open canoe design for over a decade, designer Frankie Hubbard has the industry buzzing with his newest whitewater freestyle canoe, the 'Skeeter (that's Southern slang for "mosquito," y'all). By utilizing the latest roto-molding technology, the above-waterline tumblehome of the 'Skeeter has been pushed to the limits allowed by present rodeo regulations, resulting in a canoe that is capable of dry, sustained rides even in big holes. The roto-molding process also allows the incorporation of many features never before found in an open canoe, such as integrated deck plates that shed water without leakage, and an ultra- smooth, integrated gunwale that is easy on the hands and paddle and requires no maintenance.

A flat, symmetrical planing hull, no-trip edge, and highly rockered ends, combined with the 'Skeeter's short 9'4" length, make 360 flat spins a breeze, even on small waves (even envious kayakers want to try it!). The same flatness that makes the 'Skeeter hull so responsive also provides suprising stability for such a small boat, allowing intermediate paddlers to move quickly to the next skill level. And for the expert open boater, the 'Skeeter is the perfect vehicle for exploring bold new rodeo moves that, until now, have been accessible only to decked boats.

Find out what the buzz is all about: check out the 'Skeeter, the new industry standard in whitewater freestyle canoes, available only from Savage V.
