fuse(fyuz):

verb/noun;
to combine or blend by melting together
to unite or blend into a whole
to become united or blended
two things joined to create one strong union

The FUSE features a unique version of Wave Sport’s legendary hull design, which offers excellent user-friendliness and river-running speed along with an extremely loose and fast feel on waves. Volume distribution of the FUSE provides a roomy, comfortable space for the paddler, enhanced control in river-running situations, and more ‘pop’ for modern playboating moves, such as loops and airwheels.

About the reviewer

I have been kayaking for about 6 years now. I have had my fair share of boats - my last boat was a Kingpin 6.2, which turned out to be a bit of a shame. I have been to many great rivers, in fact I have only just got back from the White Nile which is when i decided that the Kingpin 6.2 was not for me - it's to skitty.

Test environment

Strong grade 4-5

Review

To me the Fuse 56 is one of the best boats of all time. Not only does it have an unquestionablly good body but the ethics behind the boat are amazing.

The hull is what can only be described as astonishing and if you're one of those people who likes playboating but also likes to sometimes run down the rapid without fear of the boat flipping then the Fuse is the boat for you.

I dont care what anyone says, this is the boat of legends. If you want just a playboat then the Project or the Flirt med is the boat for you. However the Project wouldn-t be anywhere near the standard it is now without the amazing Steve Fisher.

If you want a predictable boat that is good for both river running and a good standard of play boating then the Fuse is for you.

Conclusion

OMG this boat is amazing, wow.
