Review

My only complaint is that when I test paddled a 12' version of this kayak, I was told the 14' version would be much drier. (I'm 225lbs, 6'3") So I purchased the 14' version. The footwell fills all the way up with water and spills over into my seat making for a very wet ride. I purchased scupper plugs and this took care of the problem. Otherwise an excellent kayak with plenty of legroom, and with a good seat, fairly comfortable for 4 hours. Any longer and need to get out and stretch. (BTW, the only additional weight I carry is 2 poles and 1 small tackle box <5lbs, and 1 2lb anchor.

Conclusion

Overall, fairly speedy, tracks well, plenty of room, very wet ride for over 225lb person. Recommend test paddling the exact boat with all gear you will be carrying.
