It looks like a rash vest, because rash vests look cool. What it is, is a climate control shirt. With long or short sleeves to suit today's shell choices.

Put it on - feel the comfort of the fluffy brushed lining. Feel also the compression and support of the powerful elastane fabric. It holds you together. Controls muscle vibration and so improves performance and power delivery and reduces fatigue. Recovery rate is also enhanced by the compression factor, helping you pump oxygen to muscles and core instead of superficial areas. And as one reviewer remarked, it makes you look like a superhero.

Softcore is rarely too hot - we wear 'em surfing in Tahiti, with air in the high 30's and water temperature about the same. Yet, worn in a cold climate, the softcore base-layer is warm enough alone for active folks, when combined with a quality shell. Only in the most unpleasant conditions would a fleece mid-layer be required as well - many of our team riders never bother.

Moisture transmission is unparalled. By some technical miracle, the fabric always seems dry under a shell, even after perspiring or when the shell has let in water. Probably for the same reason, it comes out of the washing machine feeling dry enough to put on. In fact, the only time a softcore feels wet to the touch is when it's been in a bag with all the rest of your wet things... Ewww!!!

Features:
Ultra warm quick drying thermal technology
Super soft & stretchy for maximum comfort
Flatlocked with no under arm seams
Available in long or short sleeve
Excellent windproof properties
Quick drying.
