This is our Formula 1 race blade. The Carbon Foam Core blade allows us to make the complex shape of our PowerHook blade profile. The Hulu blade creates an aggressive catch at the start of your stroke and a clean release when exiting the water. Internal carbon edgebanding provides excellent durability to the edge of the blade. We combine this blade with an extremely light and responsive Double Bend carbon shaft with optimized flex and top it with our proven ergonomic Carbon Ergo-T Grip. Each of our Carbon Foam Core blades is handmade in the USA. Choose a small or large blade in Carbon Weave or our beautiful Hoe Graphics; The darker colored Deep Water or the lighter Lagoon.

Double Bend Technology can be found on our Hulu paddles designed specifically for racers. The Double Bend creates overall joint stability and connection to the core allowing you to paddle with the larger muscle groups. The Double Bend at the top of the shaft facilitates a bend in the elbow of the top arm, which puts the shoulder in a more ergonomic position. This stabilizes and connects the shoulder to the body. The Double Bend also creates a neutral wrist on the bottom hand which can reduce overuse injuries to the wrist and elbow. This technology originated from our deep knowledge of Outrigger Canoe racing and has thousands of miles of proven results at improving paddler’s performance.
