In 1991 Lithuania regained its independence. This allowed four Lithuanian professionals together with one Hungarian to form a private company to manufacture high-quality carbon products. They named their company "BRAČA-SPORT". The official headquarters with the manufacturing plant have been established in Lithuania. For ease of communication and for logistical purposes, all commercial aspects are dealt with directly from BRAČA-SPORT's Hungarian office.

The production shop of some 1,800 sq.m. was purposely built in 1991. It can boast of having the latest technology and `state of the art' computer-controlled equipment. Using these advantages, plus the vast wealth of composite engineering knowledge held within the firm, BRAČA-SPORT has recently expanded its range of products, to include yacht and windsurfing masts, in addition to drive shafts for automotive and industrial applications. Apart from oars and sculls BRAČA-SPORT are extremely proud of being the manufacturers of world class flat water kayak racing and canoe paddles. Without question BRAČA-SPORT's paddles are the market leader and most successful paddle currently available.The success of these paddles is reflected by the number of gold medals won by leading world sportsmen at Olympic Games and World Championships. By continuing to work with these leading sportsmen and using the craftsmanship and experience which has been built up over 6 years, BRAČA-SPORT has successfully maintained the number one position in paddle manufacturing. The greatest of attention has been paid to all aspects of BRAČA products, including design, manufacturing, performance and finish quality. The `company philosophy' being that if the customer is happy and satisfied, he or she will return allowing furtherproduct investment and a more secure work place. At BRAČA-SPORT today our work and investments are fully justified by our rapidly increasing sales.
