The idea behind Red Paddle Co was to produce and promote a simple path to Stand Up Paddle enjoyment. We’d say enlightenment but maybe that’s a bit serious?

We’re friends with some of the best paddlers in the world and we are inspired by what they do – the waves they ride and the speed at which they race. We love SUP because it can be done on so many levels. Some of us like to ride waves on the boards, other like to cover distance on flat water, while some of us just use it as an excuse to get off the Wii Fit!

The one thing that it allows us all to do is to get out of the house on weekends and summer evenings with our friends and family. SUP is easy to do and everybody loves it – we have yet to find anybody who didn’t enjoy a paddle trip. Even the most sceptical are converted very quickly. To do this we wanted a board that was simple, robust and useable by all and that didn't cost the earth.

We didn’t need the board to ride big waves or to win any races. We just needed it to work for us and people like you who just want to experience the simplicity and glide of stand up paddling, ride a few waves and to experience the outdoors from another perspective.

There was one other thing we wanted to be able to do and that was - help all those people who don’t have much storage space or people who travel around a lot to have the chance to be a Stand Up Paddler. That’s why we produced our inflatable range.

Red Air boards are amazingly lightweight and stiff. They pack up small and can be stored in the smallest of cupboards, car boots and even travel bags for taking on holiday or business trips. They are the perfect travel board or everyday board for those without space to store a normal Red.
