After learning to surf a few years ago in her hometown of Rockaway Beach, the founder The H2O Generation Kelley Brooke tried stand up paddling. Instantly, she fell in love and hasn’t surfed on a surfboard since. Having always loved the idea of 1960s surfing she thought that stand up paddling was the perfect example of old school meeting new school and wanted to develop a line of products that would pay homage to the surfing legends of old. As a result, The H2O Generation has introduced a line of innovative stand up paddleboards hybrid with that familiar retro design. Our products appeal to the classic surfer, but satisfy the adventurer in all of us.
The H2O Generation’s classic retro boards and paddles are handmade from materials of the upmost quality. At our companies inception we knew we didn’t want to just simply sell boards. We wanted to add to and enrich the surfing lifestyle, while maintaining the old fashioned lifestyle. We exemplify the idea of long, lazy summer days with great friends and bonfires on the beach. We are not afraid to wear flip flops and shorts in December. We aren’t just a company supplying boards to a community, we are a part of that community.
Each member of our family shares Kelley’s passion for adventure sports. Each of our teammates have been chosen for his/her enthusiasm for promoting h2o sports, for his/her personal community involvement and for his/her desire to participate in the sic’est sport to hit the water in years.
Stand up paddling is more than just taking control of the waves or the feeling of cruising along the glassy waters at sunset. To us, it’s a movement, a thirst for life and adventure while staying grounded in old school surfing values. Classic surfing + innovation = the h2o generation.
