try looking through the database on the site here: playak.com/kayaks.php I do think that you will have a hard time finding a boat that has a weight range that includes 340. I will look at bit myself and get back to you if I find something.

Hi Mike,

Go into: playak.com/kayaks.php as already said. Then choose the manufacturers that you like, or all of them. Choose the type and then the year(s) then click 'order results by': 'volume'... and below that choose 'largest first/reverse'... Now you'll find what you're looking for a little easier. There a couple of very big boats above 80 gallons. Good luck mate ;)

Perhaps if you can still find one a very old model called the Prijon Tornado could float 340.

As far as manufacturers' rating is concrened: these are always on the safe side and depending on the type of water (I wouldn't run hairy class V in a boat that is too small) you could probably paddle a boat that officially rated for 300.

just my 2 cents,

Michiel

I'd say that if you get in the mega rocker and it stays on top of the water then you would be able to paddle that up to at least class III water, it would just handle a little differently than most kayaks would.
