the cag has latex seals on the neck and arms the deck has alot of stitching. Nneoprene will eventually bring water in if you want to be completly dry get seperates! this will still get water in occasionally at the end of the day kayaking and canoeing are water sports so you should expect to get wet from time to time.

Water getting into your boat often drains out of your shoes or if bolts arent done up correctly or your spray deck isnt quite the right size etc.

Try them on find out if you feel comfortable in a cagdeck. remeber if one partt goes you will have to replace it if you use seperates and you hole a deck or cag you can replace them individually or if use more than one boat this works better especially if the cockpits are way different

o i thought topdecks were dryer than paddling seperates

i only have 1 boat so differant size cockpits isnt an issue

u say the spraydeck has lots of stitching does this mean it is likely to let water in?

thanks for the help
