DragoRossi boats?? video included! 18 years 4 months ago #11689

has anyone in these forums paddled a DragoRossi boat?? I've heard they are really different to paddle, and that they are really interesting boats, but i have never actually seen one in real life.

here is a link to a video, which shows the squashtail absolutely owning every other boat... I am pretty impressed.... looks dangerously fast:dance:

Anyone here know what do they handle like in real life? looks like a hard boat to cartwheel or deal with in a hole because of the tiny amount of volume in the stern... but also looks like a dream to surf/blunt/go crazy on a wave in... but i dont know for sure..
what do you guys think??

any ideas on which one would be the best to get for an allround playboat?

any feedback you can give me will be apreciated.

i paddle a fluid flirt, and the flirt is real easy to throw around in flat water. I met a guy on the nile that paddled a fish and had a go with it. i don't think there is any chance you will be able to cartweel that on flat water. corran like his boats with a lot of volume.
aparrently the sqaushtail is really fast and carves excellent. it is more of a wave boat i think. the stinger is more for holes i suppose.
what i know for sure is that the plastic on the fish was harder than those of our fluids. Example: when a rock scratched our hulls, you could see we went over it, while the fish didn't leave that much of the plastic behind.

maybe some one on playak that paddles dragorossi can help us out?

squashtail loop here

squashtail is not just for waves, it's a fun hold boat too, and it cartwheels super easy

FIsh cartwheel here

I weigh 160lbs and can flatwheel the Fish easily.
(and I certainly am not a pro)
