Has anyone any comment, review on the new Eskimo Salto or comparison to the older one?

gday mate, I got one recently and will be bring over to South Island for some west coast paddling. Compared to the earlier model the new version is very very different (in fact they should have named it something else than Salto). I'm still fiddling with the fittings. Overall it is a good boat. Have a read on the following links;

I have anew Salto but can not really compare it to the old one as I don't think I ever paddled one.

I can say however that this boat is a very competent creek boat, very fast, great directional stability (all though due to this not the most directionally agle boat I have ever paddled but is no slouch), relatively easy to boof and appears to be very solid indeed (I have taken some huge hits but somehow there are absolutely no sign of these on the boat).
