seat position in my project 18 years 3 months ago #12200

hey,

i just bought a new project 52, yippee! :)

anyway...i've been outfitting the boat and i got the footblock shaped good, so i glued it in. now i'm worried about the seat position (should have thought about it before...i know, lol)

so, my problem is...i can't really scoot my seat up any further forwards because my legs are too long (6' 1\") and my footblock is in the way, but i dont want my body to be positioned too far back in the boat.

i took a few pictures of me in the boat...does it look like i'm too far back??

should i rip the footblock out so i can move the seat forward some, then redo the footblock?

heres links to the pictures:

thanks for your help!

well, it looks like you may be a little far back. But, in your pic you are not maintaning an agressive body position, like you would be when paddling or surfing. With your seat a little back you should hopefully have a little easier time front surfing and a little harder time landing blunts.
