Immersion Research dry top? 18 years 3 months ago #12558

Greetings :-)

I'd just like to find some feedback... I can get an Immersion Research Comp LX dry top at a very good price from Andrew Kellett who has imported a few.

www.immersionresearch.com/products/resul...one&number=64004

In fact it's their only model of dry top that has been imported by him. Anybody got any experience with IR and/or this dry top specifically? Unfortunately I cannot even see the top before I buy as he is in Cape Town. How waterproof are the seals and how durable is this jacket? Any comments or thoughts appreciated. Shot. ;-)

Hey Adrian,

they are nicely made very nice infact, theyre well put together. But they come at a price we used to sell them for £170 for the comp jacket a semi drycag which put it out of reach for most customers. We ended up specialing them off and several of my friends bought them and love them. They have a very comfortable neck seal. If you can get them at a good price as it sounds as you can go for it dude. 8)

they are good. I had the comp LX and now i have the x-jacket. IR has a good product that is low on bulk. I really like that part.

Thanks Chris. I can get the top for R1300 I think. That equates to 92.33 Pounds with todays exchange rate! So yes, seems like an awesome price. :bounce:

Shot, Nathan. I have also heard that they are pretty compact. Pity I can't get the X-Jacket :| I reckon I'm going to take one. Just waiting for a reply on my mail.

Thanks for the comments :roflol: :notworthy:
