I am looking for a new play boat. People seem to like both of these boats a lot, they are both pure playboats, but I understand that they are very different. How do these boats compare to each other? What would I gain or loose?

project is asick all around boat haven't tried much of dragorossi but sat in my friends and it was alot like a box fast kinda but not all together the project is alot easier to play with and the air is jsut there as soon as you want it to release

The Dragorossi thruster is definitly the better boat..If you want to paddle a tub get the project 62..The thruster does everything a good playboats supposed too.. Its bad ass on a wave, its balanced in the hole and it river runs just fine..It also has plenty of leg and foot room and the outfitting can be ajusted while sitting in your boat.

Aren't you in DC area? It should be prettty easy to find both boats to demo.

Jeff McIntyre has the Thruster (and all the DragoRossi boats) for demo right in Cabin John and there are some WS pros that live in the area.

I prefer the DR boats. I even lost sacrificed perks from another company just to go to paddle DR boats. Just my experience, but very worth it.
