I need some shoes I can wear all day in the boat, drain water well, and are good for scouting and easy walk outs. (for summer) Suggestions?

What kind of boat? if it's a creek boat, get whatever shoes feel comfy, because you've got plenty of room. If you're in a playboat and foot room is at a premium, I recommend taking a look at Immersion Research's Ghetto Booties or the NRS Rodeo Sock. Both are just beefy enough to not wear out after walking on rocks to scout rapids, but I wouldn't advise walking long, long distances in either.

Hope this helps!

Check out Teva P-2s and NRS Kickers

Desperado booties from NRS would be good, and they're not too pricey. They also make a Desperado sock if you have a playboat.

Yes, the Teva P-2's look very cool. I can only find them mailorder. I wanted to try them on, with that split toe and all.

Do you have them?

Merrell have some pretty cool looking water shoes but I havent seen any in the flesh because most shops only have the trainers.

For summer boating I use a pair of Teva Neutrons as they drain and dry well and are really comfortable. They are also very low profile so they fit well into a playboat.

from my experience merrels fall apart very quickly. I use some beeet up 5.10 bright blue booties which need replacing and some Teva Gammas for my h3 when im in the creeks of europe.

In my squirt boat its either neo socks to save my toes or bare foot which isnt too pleasent this time of year

I use Teva's (can't remember which one) for creeking. They are low profile and super comfortable. The sole is fairly thick so walking over rough terrain is not too bad. Good grip that is lasting well so far. Not as good to fit into a playboat.

For playboating I used some Palm's. The low cut ones, not the booties. Super soft and comfy but they wore out really fast. Holes straight through both soles already. They have super good grip on rocks which is probably why they wore out so quickly. I will consider buying more of these...

Soft compound for good grip at the expense of longivity.

You could try some NRS Desperado Socks or their Rodeo socks which are both very low volume options. I don't like boating bare foot very much.
