how are the edges on this boat im deciding between agent 6.2 and project 52 and ronin 49 give a shout and i think project is going to be the best bet for big air moves but haven't tried the other two yet does it carve and release from a carve ?

you're not really going to be able to carve in any of these boats. They are made to bounce and loop with soft edges.

Don't tell me they aren't able to carve like i'm some dumb nu be. if you throw blunts correctely its an aggressive edge transfer and what about working up to top of a wave carving?
these boats do carve and a difference in hull design does matter
how do you like your ronin?

I don't consider that carving. Working up to the top of a wave. A good carve carries momentum across the wave, and yes you're right, then you can do a good blunt with edge transfer.
it's just when you leave carving so open like you did that sooooo many people come back with this concept that just wiggling on the wave is carving. Not you perhaps, but many people have a very odd liberal idea of what carving is.

These boats have long flat spots (you notice it in the Ronin the most) so they con't carve a gracefull curvy line at all,but they hold an angle of attack well.
The Ronin seems to like to plug the bottom of a hole or wave quickly and start looping. It screws some people up, but then again, something on every boat will screw somebody up.

I have not paddled the Agent more than a super brief occasion so can't comment on ti.

In the Ronin I feel movement from bow to stern or side to side. Not much in between.
The Project is different in that I can feel the movement on the corners, like I can edge it and weight the bow at the same time.
Does that make any sense?

I'd definitely go for the project. It's not going to be great as far as downriver goes, but from what I hear about the ronin and Agent, it will be just as good, if not better. It's really a great boat, is super loose, and blunts like a charm:yes:

hmmm, it might come down to your purticular style, as all htese boats seem to be high performance players. Try each one out to see which ones comfiest and most responsive. What boat do you paddle? What kind of playboater are you?
