A Paddling Excursion Extravaganza at Lake Morena on May 18th, 19th & 20th 2007


Come share this outstanding paddling retreat with three kayak clubs in Southern California, to meet other paddling enthusiasts and to enjoy the experience of paddling. This will be the ideal opportunity to check out the different kayak clubs in the area and to meet other fellow paddlers, in a pristine setting ideal for camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and paddling!

Friday 5-18 Evening Paddle Launch Time 6:00 p.m.:

The Designated Group Launch Time on Saturday 5-19 is at 8:30 a.m.

Distance of Paddle: Lake Morena has approximately 8 miles of shoreline.

Pot-Luck Picnic: Bring your favorite Mexican dish for a group pot luck picnic following Saturday’s paddle. During the picnic the kayak clubs will share information about their club, paddles, and events. I have been asked to share a few of my favorite paddling destinations in California.


On Sunday 5-20th there will not be a designated group launch time. Please make arrangements and invite new acquantainces you met on Friday and Saturday to join you on Sunday morning paddle.
