A lot of the footage is from Quebec. Some is from Mexico. Unfortunatly, I'm so lazy with filming and my kayak trips are so fast pased that I rarely film anything and I never want to give up my spot when playboating so I don't have much good footage of that. Also, we run a lot of pretty serious stuff read and run because a member f the group knows it. I'm gonna make an effort to get more local stuff though.
You're kidding with the playboat comment, right?
And If you aren't I prefer to use bigger boats when running hard stuff, because it's safer and I think more fun. I really like paddling a big boat. Thanks for the feedback guys.

yeah man i was kidding about running that with a playboat... i hardly EVER leave mine but you wouldn't catch me running any of that in it no matter how much i love it!! done a couple of bigish rivers in it though... does make the ride a bit crazier when the water not quite as big as what you got.

nice footage, know what you mean about not wanting to give up anytime to film, its a tough decision to make, i usually opt for the boating. Also, nice music choice, cant go wrong with the chilli peppers.

that's right man nice. The malbaie, the gatineau, the matawin. Matawin had some scary ass rapids cause it was at super high water. We all did some walking :mad:

next time you come around quebec city don't forget your creeker and run the taureau, sautoriski, caché, saute à la puce



but this spring the river will be very dangerous :stop: because there was a big windstorm 29 october and there's a lot of tree in the river :mad: for more information on the river free from tree

gens de terre is more a canoe thing i think

taureau it's solid with 3 portages and 20 named majors rapid half of them are class v

You must be thinking about a different section. I think we were the 3rd or so party to ever do that section (18 miles i think). Here are a few pics, maybe you guys are really good canoers up there.

gens de terre got a popular section by canoe, but the river is long and big so there should be other creek class v section

i don't paddle far from quebec city, except saguenay lac st-jean, gaspesie or charlevoix they got really nice creek.

the taureau has been run in raft and canoe
