I need your expertise! Where can I view as well as potentially buy a face bar to put on a whitewater helmet? I am trying to identify my alternatives i.e. full coverage helmet vs helmet with a facebar,etc. I am aware of Cascade facemasks and the Predator masks. Are there others?
I am thinking about having a facebar put on a highend helmet.

I'm a big fan of FNA Headgears X-Stream model. Full face coverage, high end helmet. Isn't heavy and doesn't impede vision at all. Quality made all the way through, not sponsored by FNA but stoked on the gear. Tried the Shred Ready Lektor but it had serious issues that they wouldn't take care off, and bad visibity compared to the X-Stream.

I think Darin is right, the FNA has proven to be a good full face helmet. I just ordered this from Sweet www.sweet.no/helmets_trooper_fullface.htm Its cool cause the jawpiece detaches if snagged. Hopefully works better than the Lector. They are also coming out with a whitewater specific version too. The only difference in the two will be color choice, there will be no goggle strap holder and a slightly less impact denisty foam. I also heard that WRSI is going to make one www.whitewaterhelmet.com/fps.asp but I have yet to see it. I even saw that Pro Tec www.pro-tec.net/bike/bike.htmlmakes one but I would not recomend it. Happy 2b have been 'working on' a facebar for quite a while (at the bottom of the page). It seems very well thought out if they ever get around to making it.
