Paddling Film Festival 19 years 5 months ago #1355

Rapid Media, publishers of Rapid, Adventure Kayak and Canoeroots, is putting together a paddling film fest - the Reel Paddling Film Festival.

Trailhead is hosting the festival kick-off on February 4, 2006 in Ottawa. Contact Trailhead at [mail address protected from spambots with javascript] for tickets.

After the festival, the films go on tour and the schedule is coming together quickly - chances are that the Reel Paddling Film Festival will be in your neighbourhood.

Entries are still being accepted - deadline is December 16, 2005. Categories include sea kayaking, whitewater and canoeing, plus best short and best overall. Pass this on to the filmmakers in your life - aspiring or established.

Check out www.rapidmedia.com or email [mail address protected from spambots with javascript] for information on hosting and entries.[/i]

I just wanted to bump this thread and put out some props to Rapic media and the REEL film fest.
I've seen it now twice at different times, different films shown, some overlap - ALL awesome - If I wasn't so tired after paddling all day at the festival, I'd have sat through it again.
IF IT COMES TO YOUR TOWN, FESTIVAL OR CONTEST, SEE IT!
