once again i am doing an assignment on the clothing and equipment for kayaking, this time i have to focus on how the item has got to wear it is, i.e a cag has got to where it is troday including latex seals gortex material etc because thats what the maret needed and research showed was best, i need to include design,purpose,construction,fabrics and materials,methods and types,function,limitations,durablility,adaptability and safety.

most of those i have covered but still any infromation would be very much appreciated.

the bit im having trouble with is what does the future hold for the developmetns and materials of cags.

i no IR have created the first seamless(welded seam) cag are there any other big developments coming through into the market in the next couple of years?

Have you checked out stuff from Reed? Non-latex seals, fleece lined, etc…
