you sound like a good canidate at your size. i haven't heard anything to great about the ronin. I've paddled the new agent too. It's hard to release on a wave. Try the new all-star or the Project52. I can flatwater those boats and I'm only 120lbs. They will go big for you and be good for river running.

i was more curious about the ronin than other boats, ive tried the project 52 and have a fairly good idea what both the agent and all star are like. The problem is they arent easy to get, my local shop has the ronin and i was wondering about it.

Thought I read somwhere the Ronin is the same or very similar to the RADS if so they are a fantastic boat.I've never seen a ronin but if they are the same buy one you won't be unhappy.

Ive got a Ronin 49 and its lovely, very tight fit enough foot room, Im around the same height as you heavier, 75kgs 180lbs???? works really well for me on a wave or in a hole great lil boat. I will be taking it out to the Bitches sometime soon (may borrow a sea kayak for the paddle out and back :) )

Sounds like you will fit inside try and demo if you can but if not it works really welland not too bad at river running
