Im looking for a kayak that is good for going on rivers and that can also be used well on the surf. i have been looking at the dagger honcho but i want to concider all of my options before buying. i am 6'2\" so i cant fit in such kayaks as Dagger RX 6.9 i know this because i have tried out a demo boat, i also weigh 100kg.

can you help me?

i have also been interested in the pyanha streach, burn and recoil i dont know what they are like on the water and the surf but i would appreciate your personal opinion. Thanks!

What about the Wave Sport EZG60? I have loads of room with the seat all the way forward, and a very big chunk of foam up front. I'm about 6 foot 85 kg.

It's weird the way some boats work. The Fluid Element, a new surf boat that is coming out soon. My buddy jumped in there during the holidays (into a prototype), he's about 105kg and 6'5\", and yeah, he made it no worries.

I personally find that most people my height and even a half a foot smaller cannot fit into my boats. It's like they always battle to get their knees under the thigh braces. I am fairly flexible and can put both my legs behind my neck so getting my kness downwards is not a hassle

In the ideal situation, you sit in the boat and get your legs in. This is good for creeking from a safety point of view as you may get verticaly pinned and then need to remove your legs first without being able to get your backside out. If you cannot do this, then think carefully about the way you have fitted out your boat. Modify or get another boat. But in most boats (playboats/river runners), people put their legs in first and then slide into the seat.

Move the seat and fiddle around. I'm surprised that the 6.9 didn't work for you. Although no point in being uncomfortable.

The Fluid Flirt large and Fluid Spice large are boths big boats. You will have no problem with either of them. I'd bet money that you'd fit no hassle. Perhaps giev them a try and see what you like.

If your interested in the 4-20, try out the M-L version, should be the best size for you. If you're wanting a surfer, then im sure someone will pop up and advise a Dragorossi....meant to be good surfers from what ive heard.

there have been a few pretty long threads on your exact question, so if you look around in the forums section, I'm sure you could find quite a few suggestions.
