Hi I am pretty new to kayaking but I love it and I want to get better. I am 135 an I am thinking about getting a kayak that is good for (River running, Play kayaking, Surf, all around kayak i quess you could say. I want a kayak that is easy to roll, fast and pretty stable.
I am looking at the Dagger Rx, and Necky mission. Could you tell me if these kayaks will be good for me or recomend another kayak.

Thanks

I'm also looking at buying an RX 6.7 for the same purpose. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard they're really nice. The EZG 50 is also a very similar boat. I've asked several people what the differences where, and they have told me that they are very, very similar and I would just have to pick one for myself. I think I'm gonna go with the RX because I've found a really good deal on one, but I think the EZG 50 is one you could look at as well.

If you're looking for versitility and ease of use/rolling then you should look at the Jackson Fun series; they were designed for that. They look like playboats but they are good river runners too.

Check this out:

(also the last link posted)

I personally do not recommend the Necky Mission. I have paddled it quite a bit and it really is not a good boat. Just my view though. I find the tail really horrible and very catchy, the boat also feels unstable. Maybe other folks find it good but I don't.

Try out some river running boats like the Dagger RX, Wave Sport EZG, Fluid Spice, Jackson Fun Series and many more from other manufacturers.
