If your considering Solvenia get there around may start of June for good water levels. Well worth the trip I went a couple of years ago drove from calais to Augsburg stayed one night played on the Eiskanal then moved into Austria paddled the Salza great river with a friendly campsite then onto to kajak kamp toni in Bovec slovenia for the lovely rivers in the area. On the way back we stopped off in Landeck for the Inn.

France is also good May normally start of melt low to big flow, June Big to med flow july mid flow Obviously the later you leave it the drier it gets.

Went to Austria last may everything was in Uber flood I loved it but BIG eye opener for my girlfriend first warm up river was ment to be 3+, but had a nice big 4 a bigger 4+ around the corner then my favourite rapid of the trip a massive 5 which you couldnt portage gotta love flooded rivers

hope you have great trip
