We get the occassional dead dog/cat/goat/cow and sometimes a sheep.. It really is the nastiest smell :puke: :puke: :puke: :skull: Respect to anyone who could go up to one of these carcasses and pick it up :clap:

Although your question is a bit vague you can find actual NZ statistics on kayak related deaths and incidents at www.rivers.org.nz/safety/db

You will find that sieves/siphons, pinnings (rocks/trees) and hydraulics are amongst the worst hazards on our rivers.
