I'm interested in buying a Drago Rossi Squashtail, but can't demo it before hand so I want to ask you what you think.

I'm about 180 cm and 80 kg, use pants 32\" width and 32\" length and use size 42 shoes. I have been paddling for 7 years and am an \"average\" paddler (what ever that means), class 4.

The reason I think I might like the boat is that there is a wave I like to play in, but my current boat a Dagger King Pin is to slow to realy ride the wave. I'm not a great playboater, more river running, but can manage a blunt once in a while and cartwheels.

How does this boat work in a hole, on waves and runnig rivers? And how do people like sitting in it, does it feel comfortable, easy to get used to and stirdy?

All help greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the Squashtail is exactly what you're looking for acutally. You're the right size, and certainly the boat will do what you're talking about.

(this last wave, boats like the Glide, Booster etc can surf it, but nothing shorter).

In both these spots the boats like Kingpins etc either couldn;t catch the wave, or if they did, couldn't do anything with the wave because of speed. The Squashtail as you see ripped.

It's a boat that takes some getting used to -= you're not going to hop in and rip - expect anything from a few days to a few weeks adaptation, but once you do.... hooo boy its a lot of fun.
