I started with a Palm Axis Extrem and after two years bought another one. Simple vest, strong, no hassles. Pocket is maybe a touch small but I have had zero issues with it. Good quality. The chest harness is secure and has never slipped. Used it this weekend in a small recovery operation. I use the same vest for playing, surfing, creeking whatever. I don't feel it hinders my movements in any way. ;)

Sweet, I hope so too

I've also had good service out of my Palm dry tops. 2 long sleeved ones which have now both torn neck gaskets and a short sleeved one which still grafts. Looks like my Kokatat Rogue is at the post office waiting to be collected...

At some stage I'll repair the one long sleeved one with new neck and wrist gaskets

Ah, ha. That's good. Was getting worried :| .. hehe. Glad you're stoked.

I'm sure you'll get a few years use out of your Palm stuff.. Don't we just live for the weekends??? I'm off to the Ash next weekend for some cold water boating. Well, by SA standards, 7 or 8 degree water is pretty damn cold. Have fun tomorrow. :bounce:
