You're a lucky man Nathan:!: I do envy you ;-)

I'll just dream of having that near me. We've got loads of paddling here, but be prepared to drive hundreds of kilometers to get there. :sleep:

I'll carry on dreaming when I move to Pietermaritzburg in Natal, which is less than an hour from world class spots and less than 100km from the sea too. :sleep:

(at least my car wouldn't rust there:lol:)

I am going to college in Asheville, NC next year. 30 min from the Green River and close to tons of other quality class V. One of the only other cities on the E.coast of the US that is better for boating

To be honest though, it depends how much kayaking i've been doing before that, like i've been out on rivers 5/7 days this week a i'm going out tomorrow... so i'm having some down time soon.
