I watched that - made me laugh! There's not a lot of water over here at the moment (not that great in season either). Maybe we should start doing stairway kayaking to pass the time
 The video was a bit long though, too much of the same thing. Make another one with more locations, a bit shorter, and I want to see some real carnage too!! Sacrifice your bodies for the enjoyment of the rest of us |

The kayaks are in good wealth!
The stairs are in smooth, polished granite. Stairs Kayak in Bom Jesus, Braga is the best way to give your kayaks a brand new look after a hard season on the river... Believe me. |

When I saw the vid for the second time I thought I noticed what looked to be little pieces of paddles flying through the air - was that just garbage or actually paddle shards?

I think that should be here, to be a bit more precise:
playak.com/map.php?om=28296 although it's hard to imagine that the guys were doing it on the main stairs, where there must be busloads of tourists all the time... but it's hard to see enough detail on the google earth photos.... If you're happy, you're successful.

Thanks for your contribute. You're right.
I'll post some photos one of these days. You are right. there are busloads of tourists there, but we get there early in the morning. Later, when the goups of tourists arrived, we were very carefull and controlled everything in order not to hurt anyone. Nobody got hurt, expect some of us, with little bruises. When tourists arrived, they asked us to take some pictures. Everything was under control. |

looks like a beautiful historic site btw!
hint: fly there with google earth (follow the google earth link from the playak map) and then look at some photos of the church that other people put in. If you're happy, you're successful.
