Hey all, I'm looking to get a new boat, and I was wondering if some one could help me out...I'm a really small boater weighing in at 146 lbs, I want somthing on the smaller size. I'm interested in either purchasing the Dagger Agent 6.0. I have not paddle it, I have only read reviews about it and I really like the FlipSwitch BackBand system. But I also really like to paddle the Liquid Logic Ronin 49. I've sat in that boat and its super roomy, which is good. I'am looking for reply about how people like the 2 boats. Thanks. Alamo.

Hey man. I havent seen too many Agents out their and I've heard mixed feelings such as it is just a reworked kingpin to deal with waves. I have no idea if that is plausible or not. I have seen many ronin's out there and I tried one myself. The 49 is freakin crazy. You can easily floop it and work it in holes. Hope this info helps you out.

I would go with the Ronin personally, the Agent isn't anything special, it's quick on a wave, sure, but it's pretty mediocre in a hole... ofcourse you'll see videos of pro boaters doing everything and more in one, but THEY'RE PRO!
The Ronin a great boat in my opinion, LL have got it spot on, it's super bouncy on a wave and great fun in a hole... your about the same weight as me, and i can throw the Ronin around no problem.
They're both good boats, and the agent is as good as most playboats around, but it just doesn't have that...va va voom...

I personally really dislike the ronin. I find it unresponsive and not really that loose. I found that most of the time I was having to fight with the boat to get it to do what I wanted to do. As for the agent, you either love it or you hate it. I would strongly suggest trying one if you can. I would also suggest looking at either a project or a new star. Both are super solid boats that perform admirably in both holes and waves. Just my 2 cents :2cents: Hope this helps, and good luck finding a boat.:)
