Survey-participants wanted for „Good vision in kayaksports“!

The awareness of good vision in sports permanently increases. Today the options to enhance visual performance and to protect the eye are manifold. But often the athlet does not know all possibilities.

Within a masterthesis of a program in Vision Science and Business at the University of Applied Sciences in Aalen (Germany) in cooperation with Pacific University, Portland (Oregon) this web-based survey was created.
The aim is to gather information about the visual situation/correction amongst kayakers/canoeists in view of specific conditions for water sports.

The key aspects are

- The correction of ametropia (e.g. long- or shortsightedness)
- Protective measures for the eye
