Pants?!? 17 years 6 months ago #18922

On the subject of winter, which is coming up soon. I've thought about gear. I have a drytop, pogies, hydroskin shirt, a mystery skull cap, and shoes for the water, but a swim would result in some very cold legs. I cant decide on neoprene pants or a drypant, any opinions and pros or cons? I have a reliable roll and never swim, but money is a little short, what should I do?
Thanks,
Joe

Drypants. If money is an issue, don't waste it on neoprene.

I do the spit dry top and bottoms, and I'm happy with it. It gives me a bit more latitude on the not so cold days, and in winter fleece layer under the dry pants... works like a charm.
Check out sierratradingpost.com their is a pair ther for about 125.00. I for get what size though. If no luck there, surf the net for a bit.
Good luck!!
