Kind of a broad question!

You will need the \"5\" a boat, skirt, helmet, paddle and personal flotation devise plus most of all lessons.

Cost? Are there any shops in Singapore? If not you are looking at all mail order unless you are travelling. Shipping boats can be quite costly due to any import taxes. Bliss-Stick has shipped single boats to Thailand and Japan as well as other countries. We are shipping, by air 4 Creekboats to Thailand next month and the cost will be about NZ960.

As for lessons if there is noone local and you can get to Thailand I would suggest Jason Yonkers at Siam Ruverrunners. He is in Chang Mai and is a very experienced teacher. There you can at least demo some boats before you buy. I know he has Bliss-Stick boats among others. Remember that demoing as many different boats before you make this purchase is very important. It will be alot of trouble for you to go thru to get a boat that doesn't fit.

Hope this helps a little!

I bought my boat on ebay
It came with a werner sidekick, Pyranha S6x, nooky spray deck and a peak boyency aid for £450! Most of my mates that playboat(aged 15-17) dont bother with a new boat cos their too damn expensive!
Oh and by the way, you are taller than my playboat lol
