DVD's not arriving from SLP 17 years 6 months ago #18959

I ordered and paid for 2 kayaking DVD's about a month ago. Black Book and Burning Time 2. I first mailed them and Scott Lindgren replied saying that they will send to me no problem. (I once had a shop in the USA that didn't want to ship to SA, guess they're weren't keen for business. Rock Creek something or other)

Usually something like that takes about a week or 2, not a month. The reason why I'm concerned is somebody else told me that they also ordered Black Book and it took like 4 months to reach them. :| Does anybody know what's going on at SLP? (Scott Lindgren Productions) Someone else told me that SLP is having problems getting the DVD's made. I've mailed them a week ago and now there is no response. Naturally my credit card has long been billed so I'd love to know what is going on. Any help appreciated. Shot

This was originally to be available on 1st of July, it was then to be available after the premier at the Outdoor Show in the U.S. on the 9th of August. It is now being advertised as available in spring 2008 on The Heliconia Press web site www.helipress.com/product/steve-fisher-b...e-spring-2008-28.cfm

I have also heard that Scott Lindgren has had some major productions delays so is really late on the release.

I had this on order before the original release date and was really looking forward to it but in the end I ended up getting Burning Time 2 instead, Hopefully SLP will get the problems sorted and I'll order it then

Yeah, I placed an order for Black Book back in May 2007...so long ago in fact, that my credit card has expired...so I must order it again. There goes my chancc of getting a poster. But seriously, I was counting on that movie to get my through winter in Edmonton! - though I heard it is worth the wait!

I spoke to Scott Lindgren about 2 to 3 weeks ago and he said they'd be shipping out Black Book in the next couple of weeks. I've been looking so forward to it! Can't wait... Luckily we've got plenty of water here so it's not critical to keep the stoke alive.. 8)

Cool, thanks for the update Adrian. Yes, I've heard you've had great water in SA this season! My boyfriend Brian is seriously homesick for SA whitewater right now for sure!
