Drysuits... 17 years 5 months ago #19201

Who is using them and what brand did you choose?

Maybe a review of the garment that you chose.

Looking to buy one myself and looking for suggestions.

Thanks.

Kokatat is the way to go. Yeah, it's more expensive than other brands, but you get what you pay for. Better to spend the money now and have the drysuit last 5-10 years then save $200-300 and have it only last a year or two.

Plus Kokatat is the only company that fully tests each drysuit, so if you get it new and go do a big mission you know it wont leak, at all.

This drysuit is really that, on multi-days I don't have to bring any other cloths because I don't get wet. Go for the relief zipper and gore-tex socks, they are worth it for sure.

The warranty is good, but on top of their customer service (legendary) you will rarely have to send it in, just for the occasional pinhole from stupid things like bushwhacking through backberries and climbing barb wire fences.

I agree, pay the money now! Kokatat dry suits rock. Real Gore-tex and customer service thats as good as ours at Bliss-Stick. They are also BIG supporters of First Descents. www.firstdescents.org
