Re:xmas gifts for paddlers?? 17 years 4 months ago #19541

this thread would be a good opportunity for people to list paddling holiday gifts that cost less than $100 or something close. It's easy to think that paddlers want gear, but that is all very expensive. There are lots of less expensive things for gifts but they are hard to find sometimes. Obviously I'll show you guys my stuff, my tshirts and art work, but it would be good to see what else is available. List it here. If it's something you make or something you fancy as a good gift idea.

Here are my links.

Here's a pic of my old one, with the logo without the new outline. They used to come free of charge with the boats but not at the moment. I'm not sure why. My dad took this photo of me this weekend in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Some massive chameleons there.. :roflol: hehehe. I saw a Tao Berman action figure on someone's Facebook the other day. It looked like a good toy (for kids of course) ;)

Any Bliss-Stick fans here in the USA, we have t-shirts, black with a large white Manaia on the back and a small Bliss-Stick logo over front left breast. Also embroidered logo ball hats.

I recently got this calendar. Of course, one of my photos is in it (I mean I took the photo, it's not a picture of me)
www.cafepress.com/npmbshop/2071699

they have lots of cool stuff
www.cafepress.com/npmbshop/640451

of course I'll pimp my own stuff, as always
www.cafepress.com/artandwater
I made two new shirts and will be making new designs all winter

Jeroen,
You have any Playak shirts or other schwag to sell?

I'm sure that you can find a tshirt from all the manufacturers.
I make the DragoRossi shirts in the U.S. (and should probably make them for Europe since the exchange rate works so well in their favor right now)

I've got to agree with Scott. Legend of the Falls is an excellent DVD. I highly recommend it..

I really enjoy One World too. Although that isn't an instrucional of course.

Some Playak t-shirts would go down nicely.... ;-)

I'm quite amazed that the t-shirts are white. I would have expected them to all to be black. Personally I don't like white t-shirts as they get dirty so easily and get grubby under the arms. The green looks interesting though. I wonder what grade cotton they use for their t-shirts.. Looks sweet. I don't think my girlfriend would wear the thong though.... hehehe :bounce: Maybe the apron ;-)

Re:xmas gifts for paddlers?? 17 years 4 months ago #19674

the quality has increase remarkably in the past two years. The printing is now terrific and they have good quality shirts with lots of colors to choose from. Check out my shop and click around a bit to see some of the options. Be sure to click into a specific product, (I'd suggest one of the dark tshirts) and you will see how many color options exist.
It would be cool to have some Playak stuff.

thing is, i just never had the time to really set up some good products in cafepress. i just spent an hour once to see what it's like.

and so i never even really announced the thing to anybody.

so adrian, if you want to create black shirts of whatever with the playak log, i can give you the login. i'd be more than happy if you could create some cool playak products and delete some that don't make any sense :)

Time is running out as I've got to go on another holiday from Sunday morning until next year. Ah, I know, I know; it's a tough job, but somebodies got to do it ;-) :bounce: hehehe

Re:xmas gifts for paddlers?? 17 years 4 months ago #19692

Adrian,

The logo is already uploaded in the image basket so it would just be a matter of going through the steps to add a new product (dark tshirt), choosing an image (the Playak logo), setting a price and clicking \"done\" when it's all over

Men's short sleeve dark tshirt is the biggest seller, followed closely by women's.
Then the long sleeved dark shirt.

Even if the initial update is simple I\"m sure that some people would be psyched to get a colored Playak tshirt (I know that I would)
