Looking for a reliable company to go on a white water holiday.
Location not an issue as long as the wet stuff is top class, looking for either big volume or the steeps.
Holiday to last between 7-14 days.
The company MUST be chilled out but wants to spend as much time on the river as possible, none of this trek buisness.
Looking forward to hearing your views

Why not choose a destination and just go yourself?

That way you get to do as you please and don't need to follow any sort of agenda. There are so many great places to go paddling and so many people to hook up with.

just a thought;)

In my opinion the coolest place is the Futa and exchile - Very laid back, but super organised. Otherwise try costarica rios - V good company, young guides and brilliantly organised.

Hey last december we started in Northern Thailand hookng u with Jason Younyin owner of Siam River Adventures. Ge is at www.siamrivers.com He has a great camp on the Mae Taeng Riverr which is a grerat class IV full of giant boulders. People are really cool and the food is awesome. They have boats you can hire.

We next headed to Bhutan where we hooked up with Rincend Dorji at Yak Adventure Travel www.visit2bhutan.com They got us on 12 different rivers and 14 different runs in 16 days! 2 of the runs were class IV first descents! Bhutan is a couintry just waiting to be paddled. We will be definetly be going back. They have boats to hire including 4 new creekboats we left, 2 mystics a New Mini and a Huka. Bhutan looks like it cost a lot to go, 200USD per day but that is all inclusive. VAn, drive, guide, lodging, food ect... It was great as Rinchen is a boater first and a guide second. A great kid.

Also stoped off in Japan for a few days and hooked up with the Bliss-Stick boys at Go-Insane KAyak store. There was tons of snow on the ground. Only got a little paddling in but the hot springs were awesome.

As for getting to do what you please? We told both operators in advanced that the trip was to paddle as much as possible. That is what we got.

I see someone mentioned Chile. Bio-Bio is a great company to hook up with there on the Fu. They also run the Azul and Espolon all local.

Have fun!!
