Need new drysuit: NRS eVent vs Kokatat 3 layr Gore 17 years 1 month ago #20702

Both retail for the same, but can get the Kokatat for 20% off. NRS claims the new 3 layer eVent is more breathable / comfortable than anything else. Wish I lived where I could try on both but can try on neither without a very long drive. Any advice is appreciated.

Not sure which one you meant:

I can't comment on the NRS. From what I've heard, they sound like quality products. I've got a Kokatat dry top and I really have zero complaints. Never been that dry in my life. The material is super soft and the cut comfortable. The latex also doesn't give me a bad rash like some other dry tops do. The quality is second to none. Made in the USA since 1971. I'd go with Kokatat.

Just my opinion though ;)

Bummer.... Kokatat on sale is GFER, not GMER. Need a skirt tunnel, don't consider that an option, so rules out the on sale GFER. So now it's the GMER at $900-975 vs the NRS Mission eVent at $850. Leaning toward the Kokatat...

I believe the Kokata is the best suit on the market. I have owned both the Stolquest and the Palm. Customer service is great as is their commitment to the sport.
