There's going to be a new division and sic prizes for ladies' teams in the EddyFlower Vertical Challenge this year! So far two ladies teams have rallied...check out all teams that have registered so far on the Standings page - www.eddyflower.com/VerticalStandings.aspx.

For those not up to speed on the event, the competition is simple: teams of 5 paddle as many runs as they can endure for 32 days. To give your paddling purpose, the challenge raises funds for young adults with cancer. Teams in each division with the most vertical feet are crowned champions and win SIC prizes!

*The Vertical Challenge opens at sunrise May 15 and closes sunset June 15.
*Open to all paddlers, from all states (including Canada), of all skill levels.
*Compete for prizes in one of six divisions (Open, Class V, Class IV, Class III, Weekend Warrior, Women) that best match your team's skill level.
*All funds raised go to First Descents a kayaking camp for young adults with cancer.
*Drives new American Whitewater memberships to protect and restore America's rivers.

Thanks to the following sponsors for getting prizes specifically for the women's division:

Kokatat
Go Pro Camera
Aquabound
WRSI
