Recoil Medium Vs. Fuse 56 17 years 2 weeks ago #21133

Alright so I have 2 boats ordered from my dealer, the pyranha recoil m, and the wavesport fuse 56. When they come in im decieding from there which one to purchase. I know not many people have got to paddle the fuse but if anyone has and also know anything about the recoil I would like to know about some of the main differences of the 2 boats. Basically what are the pros/cons of each boat compared to each other?

I have demoing riverplay boats for a few weeks now. I am 5'10" 165 lbs. I have paddled the Wavesport EZG 50 ( Good play but squirly river runner), Wavesport Fuse 56, Jackson Fun ( Good play but a little stern squirly in harder water), Jackson Classic Fun ( cool but small), Liquid Logic CR125 Too big for me and spin disk hull did not track well for me), and the Pyranha Recoil M. The Fuse 56 is a big boat. At my weight it was a great river runner but too much for me to play in. It's wide end to end and required a little extra effort to roll. It really shined on a wave though. I decided against it becouse of the size. The Recoil was also a great river runner. I never got tripped up on eddy lines or squirly water. Never got back ended and was real comfortable. Overall good river runner and still small enough to play. I liked it best as it was sized better for my weight. I had heard the connect 30 was not so great but I liked it. Paddle them all if you can. It's amazing how much differently boats about the same size paddle.

Just wondering which boat Coosapaddler went for in the ned as they seem to be looking at all the same kayaks as me at the moment.
