I Broke my kayak on our last trip on the Rur in germany. It was not a year old. I think it was a production problem. when I had ordered it, it took quite a long time before I recieved it. demand was higher than production capacitiy. I went back to the shop where I bought my kayak: Kanocenter in Wachtebeke Belgium. Koen, the owner was very helpfull to arrange the warranty.
We (
www.nirjhara.tk) are planning a new trip to Nord Italy. My first trip to the alps. I'm realy looking forward to it.
So it was verry critical I had a kayak for this trip. We departure tomorrow.
the replacement of my kayak went not so smooth as I was hoping for due to different reasons (Main supplier was on holiday, ...)
Yesterday I received a mail of Koen from Kanocenter in wachtebeke that he will replace my kayak with on of his shop and arrange the warrenty afterwards. that is what I call good service.
BTW I had a great price in the first place.
I know this sound like publicity, but it is not. I'm not related to the shop in any way. I'm only a happy costumer.
